Tuneup sticker 427/390 "CJ"


Here's my original tuneup sticker.  Looks like it should be code "CJ", which is is.  This decal is reproduced commonly as DC447 if you want it!

I find the reproduction tune-up spec decals don't stick that well. I've had mine fly off when doing a quick engine wash.

It's interesting that with today's technology they can't make them identical. If you look carefully, it's easy to tell them apart.

Yup, I could likely make a closer one if pressed, but even with better layout it's clearly a slightly different font. What are font experts call, typographologists or something? I wish I knew what font GM and Pontiac used for that kind of stuff, it has a rather distinctive feel.
