Newbie looking for Decode Info 1952 Pontiac Chieftain (Canadian Model)

Hello Folks,

We are new to your forum. We are an Automobile Restoration Company who will be restoring a 1952 Pontiac Chieftain 4 Door Sedan.

Our customer is not sure what he has. Hoping for decoding assistance.

Model # 27-69D

Serial # 2276903195

Engine # P13080

Trim # 471

Body Serial # 738

Factory Paint # 251

I believe it is a Deluxe model. It is Flat Head 8 Cylinder, Hydramatic, Canadian Built.

It is green with a white painted roof.

Any information would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

John Nizman

Here's what I was able to come up with
model 27-69 = Chieftain Deluxe 8,4 door sedan
serial 2276903195 = numbers started at 2276900001 ( so a fairly early car )
engine P13080 = ? ( my book says numbers started at P37001 )
trim 471= ?
paint 251 = Atlantic blue ( a solid colour )
list price = $2822
weight = 3420 lbs
manufactured = Oshawa

Thanks for the information. Our customer was surprised to hear the original colour was Atlantic Blue!

You should be able to find a hint/trace of the colour behind a molding, in a door jam etc.
What colour is the interior?
