Commonwealth Games in Edmonton in 1978.

No official "Games" insignas or decals on this Le Mans.......

....maybe a dealer  idea  of a unofficial "Games" car.

1975 Canada Cup LeMans - red with white accents and white maple leafs + GT decals on front fender

1976 Olympic Edition LeMans - white with red pinstripes and Oly logos on front fender

1978 10th Anniversary Pontiac Cup LeMans - white with red pinstripes, first year on smaller G-body

1981 Pontiac LeMans GT

- No 1978 Commonwealth Games edition of LeMans.

- Canada Cup was a professional hockey series.  Pontiac Cup was a ski series.

Gotta love the Canadian Poncho site for stuff like that.
I vaguely remember this car being on Kijiji back in 2013,
Not a bad price if the frame rails are still holding up.

 I inquired about it. Frame rails have previously been patched.Another southern frame available at extra cost. Asked to see pics of current frame with no response,so that speaks volumes.

Cheap enough,but passing an out of province with a patched frame be no fun and dont want to get into a whole frame off resto.
