1) announce a shutdown
2) listen to the flack ( public and political )
3) respond with a pared down bare bones service and claim to be the saviour on a white horse.
Some sort of service will remain.

........financial assistance for the struggling business because of the burden they have to encounter in trying to obtain profits.

in other words...government subsidy.

 Think we may have a manufacturing company in Quebec that starts with B where this has happened and it has to have cost us billions by now. Could have paid each worker a million bucks and told him to go home and invest it and we would have been way further ahead. At least we all have 10 feet of pipeline now.
