305 engine * Never seen a winter, stored in garage * Blankets cover her body for protection and the interior, blankets covered the seats as well. * My Grandfather waxed her every fall before winter came, and would shine her up every spring and throughout the summer months. * Great working order, runs like a dream and floats down the highway * She has a small dent on the corner of the trunk that we have covered with a decal (bullet holes). The decal can be removed, but you would never know there is a dent in that area. * Colour is actually considered two tone maroon *Re-appraised in 2011 for 7000.00 + HST. She still has original paint, original almost everything (new exhaust pipe and new battery).
Reason for selling - She needs an owner with time to spend with her and show her off, even just for a Sunday drive.

From what I remember of the car, if its as good as it looked in the pics, I think Darryl got a real deal. When do you get it Darryl?

Probably by mid August.

I know this whole thread has been derailed by me but I received the '64 Parisienne. It's definitely a "parting-out special". Pictures to follow.

Somebody got a beauty of a '79 Parisienne for a good price in light of the excellent condition. Examples like that one don't grow on trees.
Yep, looks like it sold within a day. The good, cheap cars always go immediately around here, sometimes they show up again the next week priced a couple thousand higher.
There was a '73 Grand Am sedan that showed up locally (about an hour +15 away) on kijiji on Monday with no price. Western car, needed a nose (they all cracked and fell apart once they aged). Was interested but had other things going on at the time (washing machine blew apart on Monday, amid other plans), figured it was probably priced highly. Checked on it again yesterday and it was marked no longer available but had a price of $750 on it.... d'oh! Would have been a perfect cheap old driver that would fit perfectly into my scheme of things...
And here is what I saw when I looked for it again...
Moral of the story is: they are still out there and do show up occasionally, but you have to jump on them when they do because everybody else is out there looking as well...

Ha ha... you can't derail this thread, Darryl, because the car is already sold...
Congrats on the parts car find - it's amazing to me that you can still find 54-year-old parts cars in the Maritimes... most of that stuff was long gone years ago.
You said I would know the car, but I'm still running a blank. Looking forward to the pics! (you should start a separate thread, though... )
