1959 Catalina Convertible Heading North

What a beauty, and a very nice write up of your trip up north. Thanks for sharing!

I love the Bonneville Safari wagon (and Parisienne!) tail light lenses, it makes the rear of the car, in my opinion, and it's a very nice touch. Much better than the stock Catalina all-red plastic lenses.

Great story of car guys willing to help out. Have had similar personal experiences. We really are a special breed.

A few photos taken today with the top down. The car came with a white and a red boot cover. Im leaning towards red.

Either will look good. My inclination is towards the white just to break things up and perhaps give it a little more "pop".

To me the white boot was just a little too Canadian. lol
I like the red boot...... seems just less in your face.

I think the red boot looks better and also I prefer it without the skirts. Beautiful car, I'm sure you will get many compliments on it and will get much enjoyment from it.
