The car was built with only 3 extra cost options; C14 2-speed wipers with washers, F40 h.d. suspension & P01 full wheel covers. The W98 blackwall 8.00-14 rayon tire was standard on wagons, and X09 was just a speedometer gear exception because the car was built as a 283 3-speed manual wagon with a 3.36:1 axle ratio & an 8.00-14 tire.

The largest tire was 8.00-14 and is incorrectly listed by Vintage Vehicle Services as 8.25-14. It is likely due to the industry switching from an 80-series tire in 1964 to what essentially was a 75-series tire for 1965 and they are going by that. On the backside of the tire sidewall starting in 1965 it would say 8.25-14  replaces 8.00-14. The next generation tire would say G78-14 replaces 8.25-14.
