Dash controls ?

Hi I'm just wondering what the knob/switch on the the left side of the headlight switch is as I just got my 65 Parisienne and not familiar with it.

Can you post a picture? From the factory there is no switch there. It must be an added switch, some accessory maybe? Is it at the same height or down lower?

I can't remember a switch on the left either but am wondering if it would be for the convertible top?

Yes, I was asking if it's lower in case it's the one down low for rear defog, top, tailgate, maybe something like that?

There is an optional switch / knob for the 4 way flashers, could that be it? I think it's down on the left side of the dash, with a red knob.

A photo would be nice to help identify what you are asking about.

Definitely an add on. Is it identical to the wiper switch?

Have you checked the back of it to see if you can figure out where the wiring goes from the switch?

So update on the switch as you were saying see where the wires go. Well no wires hooked to it so I'm not sure why it's there but will be coming out. Thanks

I'd keep it. It looks good, like it belongs. Otherwise you get a hole you'll have to plug.

Convert it into a hidden kill switch. Must be turned for the engine to start or the like.

Here's the switches on my CS

And yes, leave it. It'd be too conspicuous if you removed it.

Looks like another wiper switch. This isn't a station wagon by any chance and someone added a rear wiper?????
