That is cool! On my treat list to get one! Do you need tubes/capacitor's etc of any kind? My dad also repairs old radio's, TV's, etc..but hes getting out of it and hasn't done much in the last 5 years.
Hawkeye - Yes, I'd like one too - 'bit rich for my blood - hard to find one nice like this one which is very good cosmetically. Much like our cars, there was a time where these would have been
out of style and tacky I suppose, so they'd sit in less than ideal storage or be discarded. This one had a tube missing from the amplifier section, and another with an open filament in the section that searches the memory bank for customer selections. As well, mechanism was jammed up / gummed up with hardened lube. Long long way to go but this bit of life encouraging. Yes, some new capacitors in it's future likely, as well as other things no doubt, plus lots of contacts cleaning Loving every minute of it.

im thinken if i was in the garage late at nite full of beer with my old pontiacs and hearing that on a juke box i would be all teared up !! very nice !!
