About 4 years ago while on a tour one of our stops in the Guelph, ON area was a similar collection. I don't know the numbers but it took up the entire basement, floor to ceiling, many rows.
Most new stuff will probably be worth the same $$$ in 50 years. Everyone is keeping them MIP/MIB and never played with.
