I own an 08. While the newer ones are really nice. Im not a fan of the step bumper. Denali is one my fav trucks but the letter placement is off IMO.

I'd say it looks a little transformer like.
Is this GMs first attempt at cutting the duals into the bumper aka Ram has done for a few years now?

Aren't side exits better suited to a truck application, oh wait unless you don't use your truck like a truck which I suppose it 90% of buyers.

To the truck, a neighbor has a beautiful Sierra Denali in a deep maroon that I absolutely love, I keep saying to myself I have to get one and join that 90% who might take a home depot trip now and then for some deck boards.

How about a guess on what the Transformer Tailgate will cost to replace?

Wouldn't last long here in PEI. One winter exposed to the salt, sand and gravel they lay here and it'd be bunged up for good.

Like the duals, dislike the tailgate/rear lights design.

Two of my neighbours just bought brand new trucks. One bought a 2018 Silverado Nevado editon. $70k. My other neighbour a new 18' Ram. The Ram owner had to take it back 3x, misaligned body panels, fitment issues aside from picking it up dirty from the dealer day of delivery with scratches etc. He said he is filing a formal complaint. He said dealer told him if you want a perfect vehicle buy a Ferrari....LMFAO ! Both trucks have black wheels. Which I personally do not like. They remind me of snow tires.  Finding a good used one with decent km's that isn't rotten, smoked in and used as a work truck is hard. Took me 3 months to find my truck. Just gonna soak it in Krown and keep it.

GM still has square wheel wells and have since it's early '60's Gen trucks. Maybe they're waiting for square wheels..........LOL

And the wheel wells rust out in five years so you have to buy a new one. It's a crime they don't fix that.

The step bumper is ugly but useful when it comes to these new trucks that are way too high IMHO. Next up, we'll have little elevators so people can get in them and a rear power lift tailgate, cost will finally make it over $100,000 when the truck sellers are striving to get it to.
I like the look and height of those old 4WD SS's and it would be nice if the manufacurer's offered a lower option 4WD. Likely way better aerodynamics (if you can use that word around a truck?) and better fuel economy.

I think a few of you guys are mixing up the 2014-2018 generation vs the 2019 that just came out (with round wheel wells FYI)

My dislikes are dual exhaust that you can't hear. The RAM is a pile of crap, but you can hear the exhaust on it.

Headlight treatment, identical to the F150.

Overly complicated tailgate.

I'm no fan of the full load pick-up anymore with all the electronic baby sitters and fun killers they force on you. Never mind the price...

I chose a '17 SLE and will be sticking with it as long as possible.

Personally, I very much dislike the new Ford & GM LED headlights. Either every one I've seen coming at me are mis-aligned, or they don't aim properly at all. Can't see anything when they're coming at you. The driver may not care until someone ends up plowing into them head on because they can't see the road - or they get tired of everyone flashing their high beams at them.

Personally I can't see any reason to have a new truck like that. 80 grand? Give me a break. A guy could have a nice rust free square body Chevy 4X4 for a fraction of that and run it forever.
