The 1970 Royale was a special version of the Delta 88 with a high compression 455 4-barrel, plus buckets & console. The buckets didn't make it to the next generation for 1971.

Nice.
But rare in this case meant nobody wanted them when it was new. Similarly now judging by the price and the duration of the ad.

I like it. Liking bigger cars more and more these days.

I like it!  I'd drive that all day long.

If I were being picky, it looks like there has been some damage along the lower side of the car that may have been partially repaired, and the mismatch between the fender and the rest of the side that was pointed out in the article.  Definitely driver material IMHO.

This reminds me of a 69 Buick Wildcat that was in Buck's Auto Parts here in Calgary about 3 years ago. It had bucket seats and a shorty console. Also some really cool door panels. A buddy who was really into Buick's was grabbing parts, he figured it was a GT interior.
