Bragging or complaining Darryl?
I bought one after the 2004 blizzard, have used it once since, last winter. They sure are handy when the power is off.

Mahone Bay, NS Still not old enough to need an automatic
Well about 2.5 hours later I got the crank seal removed from my generator. As it turns out the armature of the generator is pressed onto the engines output shaft (it's tapered) and held in place with a long bolt.
I had to tap the inside of the armature to allow the use of a bolt. Next I cut a metal rod long enough to reach the output shaft of the engine but about 1/4 inch inside the armature. I threaded the bolt thus pressing the rod against the output shaft and the armature eventually popped free of the shaft. 10 minutes later the seal was out. Now to get a replacement and reassemble.
