Wanted Original 64-72 GM A Body rear sway bar

Looking for an original rear sway bar from a 64-72 chevelle or other "A" body-hope everyone had a great holiday season and all the best to everyone in 2019!

Good luck!

I talked to Tin Man (who is now closed as far as I know)

He had 2 but didnt want to sell them.

I ended up buying a new one from That Parts Place

It is a nice piece BUT it does not have the short flat spot under the pumpkin.

So thats my experience.

I'd say $100 for the one in the Kijiji ad is a good deal. I've bought a few reproduction ones (which seemed fine to me), but I don't recall what I paid for them.

An original factory rear sway bar is easily worth $150 USD all day long ( and I have paid more ) . Also used on GM B body with the spacer kit . Like Carl mentioned , if it were closer I'd own it already .

No, they discontinued it a few years ago.

To the question will the front bar fit?

I doubt it BUT Not positive 

You can buy a new rear bar at The Parts Place

in Chicago area 

from what I researched, I was lead to understand that the 

rear bar is still made at the same place in Detroit that made them for GM

until they discontinued the part.

Also the early factory  rear bars had a short flat spot under the pumpkin.

The later bars did not.

Im not sure why...

The Parts Place even uses the GM part number if my memory serves me correct

 I seen the seller last night at the funeral home for his Grandmother. He said both the front and back bar sold quick
