I figure about 700 of them are no more leaving about 8 left. (Heh heh) I had never seen one myself and I have to admit I bought it as much out of sheer curiosity but I think it will be a very practical car for lots of summer use. Now I just have to do a few things to it like replacing those silly door lock pulls, taking off the headlight thingys, sticking in a (pretty close to period) correct floor mount gm eight track, maybe doing a bit of upgrade to the engine with a pertronix and maybe a quadrajet and she should be good for a cruise to Winnipeg this spring to swap some wheels with Carl and hopefully pick up a few more parts.
As you guys were saying I kind of hope I won't need any 4 door hardtop specific parts in a hurry as they seem to be pretty scarce, although I imagine the same year Chevelle would share a lot of those. Should be more of those around in Canada and in the US.
Nice purchase Ken!! If I recall right..there is 1 (4dr HT)on the Island that I saw a year or so back( so you have 1 of 2 ) . Can't remember what show...maybe another Islander recalls it? Nice that you have the docs...maybe Carl could update the pro #'s for us. Do you know if it's orig paint? looks like it from the pics. Just noticed overspray on hood hinge.

There's a red one about 20 minutes from here parked in a farm yard. I've seen it there for years now. I think they drive it. It looks to be maintained.

I do remember seeing on occasion a very nice '66 Beaumont Custom sport sedan in Hamilton around 1980 in Westdale. I also saw the same car for sale at the Barrie Automotive Flea Market around 1997~8 still wearing the original Artesian Turquoise paint & fawn interior. It had a radio block-off, a 230 with the checkerboard 230 emblems, wheel covers, whitewalls & a Powerglide. Never had an antenna, at least at that point.
Here is is in a photo I found online of it from around 2011. It had an antenna added at that point.
This poor guy could not sell this to save his life about 10 years ago in Winnipeg, it was for sale for about 5 years before it was sold. It might even be the one that is in the above pics now from ontario???? 230 PG
This poor guy had a hell of a time selling this one too. Was on Kijiji for a few years or more. It had terrible bodywork and paint, but was originally granada gold. I remember when the car was still unmolested and belonged to a teacher in Kenora Ont. It made its way to winnipeg after it was painted candy apple. Never seen it since.

Anyway, there is also the red one that carl talks about down in Southern manitoba.
There is also a Shriner in winnipeg with a really nice teal 66 4dr HT, a different one than in the pics, a nice original car. but that was about 10 years ago.
There was also one that i saw on Cheverier ave in winnipeg about 20 years ago, it was a 66 white with a 2tone silver blue roof. I often wonder where that is, i am sure its still around, it was a "car guy" that owned it.
So, yes, 4 dr HTs are out there, you just have to hunt them down a little harder!

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH. The other one has a longer roof.
You know, if anybody has any 4 door hardtop exclusive parts like windows, weather stripping etc I'd be interested. The problem with a rare (relatively) bodystyle is finding that stuff so you don't have to worry about life's little events, like wear and tear.
