Ya i wish i still had my 67 parts car, i i sold all the specific 4dr ht parts to the guy with that teal 6 in my above pic. IF i still had the stuff, i would give it to you!
It would be a long shot, but Alexanders Auto ranch in Flinflon might still have that one, but if you phone, they might not have it in computer inventory.
There was also a 66 chevelle 4dr hardtop in Burts in Dryden ont.

Yesterday I did a test swap and put on a set of 15 by 7 ralleys with the Beaumont centres and I must say, that's the way it should look! The permanent set will be 15 by 5's with maybe slightly taller tires. Here's a couple of shots.
Sorry about the mud on it. My yard is still thawing out but I couldn't wait to drive it. She is a smoothey and the 283 feels pretty perky! Even the wife liked i
Ken, it is a real "remember when" when I looked at the pictures you posted above. An older friend who lived on a farm in Freelton, Ontario lived at home with his parents who both had owned since new a 1966 Parisienne sport coupe & a 1966 Beaumont Custom sport coupe parked together in the garage. They were always clean whenever I saw them, but the Parisienne was sold back in 1979 when old Walter Elliot Sr. gave up his license. He lived for many more years after, passing away just a couple of years back at the age of 101. His wife kept her Beaumont until 1986 when it was discovered the frame had gone soft, although it was still clean & beautiful. Mrs. Elliot must have passed away back around 1988/89.

So far it acts nice and tight and pretty much like a new car. Still has original ball joints. I figure if I cover it with mud it will keep it from rusting. Sort of a hillbilly version of undercoating.
Just spent a day or two putting in an eight track player and trying to make it look factory. The unit is actually from a 69 Pontiac floor mount setup so I put it in the same way. I mounted two GM 10 ohm 6x9's on the back package tray and used two original 66 rear speaker grilles from a couple of my parts cars. I replaced the knobs with a couple of 1966 Pontiac radio knobs to match the ones in the Beaumont. I'm actually pretty happy with it although so far the unit is a little balky. Hopefully I can get it 100 percent and then its cruising time!
By "a little balky" do you mean that it makes Jesse Winchester yodel like Slim Whitman?

Good one! Put it this way. I'm not sure that it just might be my 60+ year old hearing but half the time it seems to only play through one speaker. have to runs some tests. This is what happens when you try to use 50 year old electronics even though this stuff was way overbuilt at the time.
At first I thought you meant "bulky" which they also are!
On a side note, I saw Jesse Winchester when he opened for the Eagles at Assiniboia Downs racetrack in Winnipeg in 1978. I can't say I was all that impressed, sorry....!

It would have been a real mismatch of artists as the Eagles were stadium fillers and Jesse was a much more folksy artist suited to small venues. The crowd that was there for the Eagles would have tolerated him at best. I will say also say this, he got better and wrote better songs as he aged too.
Some of his lines have stuck with me for decades.
"One day I'll be old gray grandpa All the pretty girls will call me "sir, " Now, where they're asking me how things are Soon they'll ask me how things were..."
This ones for Bernie C. He helped get these wheels to me. I must say they do suit this thing a lot better than the 15x5 rallys I had on it. Used the same tires. I think its a keeper. Probably could use a wash though.
My sister had one of those as her first car, bought it "brand new" from City Pontiac Buick when they were at Danforth & Main street in Toronto. Hers was white with blue interior 6 Cyl automatic!

Sweet! Yeah, that salinity in the oceanside atmosphere will do stuff to brightwork and untreated metal that you don't worry about in Wild Rose
Country. It may not be 3,800 miles, but it sure doesn't seem like even 103,800, given the state of the soft bits and the engine compartment! It's definitely a keeper.
Yeah it's a bit of a puzzler considering where it came from. It must have been used carefully and stored well as it drives really nicely with a fair bit of "pep" in the old 283. Still even has the original ball joints.
I must say it is such a pleasure to drive I use it in preference to anything else I have. Almost 10000 miles on it now.
I have noticed a difference in handling with these wheels already. The wider stance of the 15x8s even with the same tires give it much less lean. I wanted to use the 15x5 ralleys just because they were period correct (sort of) but really they were not great in the handling department.
