Nice warm(13 Degree) day on the Island. Car has been parked for a couple of months,so out for a cruise! Pull off the blanket...check the tires....some fresh fuel and off we go!smile Had to get the tires really hot to get rid of the flat spots!biggrin

Been a slow start to winter here so road crews are using a 1 to 1 ratio on the roads . 1 inch of salt for every inch of snowhmm

Our winter started early this year (November). It's -13 today with a cold wind chill around -21. At least the sun is out!

-12 here this morning but ground is bare, still havent run the snowblower this winter. Lots or rain and then dry cold and plenty of wind.

Drove the 409 last week, it doesnt mind the cold even though Ive tied the choke open. Wouldnt trust the pie crust radials in snow or rain.

Its a real bonus to run a car in January.

I had to take my wife to the yarn store in Sooke yesterday, and I lounged around out front on the street watching the cars go by. I wondered if you would be out for a cruise. Only spotted a few nice cars.

Ya, same here dan,  cleaning snow of the roof of all the cars and the carport,   going to be in the minus 20's here all week

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.
