Canadian RHD 4 doororder

Hi guys

Heres a perfect match for the Convertible

An Australian Air Force pilot order it while in the States, where it spent its first 3 years than back Australia. Last rego was 1987 but the guy I bought it off had been driving it unregistered in Queensland for 18 months. It is the same as the Oz 4 door but cloth seats (not an option here til 67/68) and the heater blower very low on firewall. if anybody know where I can get an original style long rubber elbow and the plastic wire conduit across the radiator support, let me know please. Can someone please add it to the register. 1 of 11 RHD built in Canada for export by the vintage vehicle report.

Wow, how cool is that! Great find, and love the amount of detail you have on it.

Yes, lot of paperwork. From order GM Canada, services and panel shops in USA and every service to 87 including some hand written note compression, radio and making reverse lights into indicators.

Interesting where the cowl tag is mounted vs. the Canadian car cowl tag location.

Wow! No power brakes and that blower fan placement is weird. does it even have a heater down that low? What did you need to supply to get the history from GM canada or was it already supplied?

I always thought the Australian Canadian made B Bodies were simply Left hand bodies retrofitted for Right hand. But it looks like the firewall is a complete different stamping.

It has the brake booster bulge on the right, and it doesn't look patched in at all. Interesting.
