I'm sure a number of members in western Canada are familiar with this swap meet. The only large ones I've attended in Canada are Barrie and Bothwell Ontario and Granby Quebec. I'm wondering how Red Deer fares as a place to buy cars and parts. Is it large? How is the selection of parts and cars for sale, in particular for 1955 to 1975 GM, Ford and Mopar? I may be in Alberta at that time so any advice will be appreciated. Thanks
I go each year, have for the past 25+ years. It's the biggest that Alberta has to offer, and your subject matter should have some representation. I'm not really looking for much, so I can make my way through in a couple hours.
Friday evening is the best for grabbing fresh stuff.
A few of us from Edmonton usually car pool and go yearly as well. But we go Saturday and make a day of it. Not sure how Clint can go through all that in two hours. I need the whole day.

I do this one nearly every year;
unfortunstely the 'quick times' sponsored swap meet which is done twice has taken it's bite out of vendors for this one - it used to be spelread over three buildings and be a friday-sunday event, now, not so much.
The big-daddy is Portland... just saying. :)
