2 Door B Body Wagon

As I was wandering around on the internet, I was thinking, I don't believe I've ever seen where anyone built a 65-68 2 door Pontiac wagon using doors from a post car. I think that would be pretty cool.

Has anyone done this?

I thought I recalled seeing one, but did not save photos of it, but there are several photos out there of this 62 Grand Prix and it looks fantastic!

Is that not two different cars, possibly made by some coachbuilder?

I also found a 64 but I'm looking for 65-66, or even up to 68.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but kinda neat if you like 'outside of the box' thinking...

That car is sectioned to fit the Nomad roof so its really not even a Coupe DeVille anymore, But it defines cool.

Image result for ridler award

Cool, except it seems like a bit of a dubious use of a 1-of-99 1959 Eldorado Brougham.  He could have achieved a similar result with a garden variety '60 Caddy, IMHO.

https://www.classicarnews.com/2019/03/01/1959-cadillac-cadmad/

"The donor car was a 4-door Eldorado Brougham, one of only 99 such cars produced in 1959. All of the Eldorado Broughams were bodied in Italy at Pininfarina. A Pontiac Safari roof had to be grafted on to the roofline of the Cadillac. In itself this was a monumental accomplishment. First the Eldorado body was sectioned, shortened by 18 inches, narrowed by about four inches so that the resulting roof line might look right. "

Mind you, it doesn't say what kind of condition it was in before it was cut up, it might have had one wheel in the crusher, so to speak...

It wouldn't be that hard as the "B" pillar was welded in place and can be easily moved. I knew someone who did the exact same thing on a '64 Biscayne wagon he was building to haul his '64 Biscayne 409 car around. Both vehicles ended up being painted Azure Blue. A '66 Wagon would be really cool to have that done to. Trick is finding a rust free decent car first. Maybe 'States side in the desert area's.
