Finally found a new project!

After looking at a million kijji/craigs adds found a truck with a common sense owner that knew the cost/work involved. Seems "66" is calling me! Picked up this 66 C-10 in the creek(Campbell River). Runs,drives,steers and stops. Needs some work but will plug my shop!biggrin

 Is a 350/350 truck...but has a third pedal and I'm not going to waste it!!smile

Hi Jim

Looks like a great start. You going with the old Granny 4 Speed. Had one in my old '64 with a 283. That thing could haul huge loads of anything you could put in it. Keep us posted on the progress.

thinking..T5(Camaro/s10 trans with OD) will be a resto mod. Already have paint scheme in my head.

Looks good there Jim. Those are pretty solid trucks. I just sold a Camaro 5 speed last year. Was going to use it in the 65 Canso that got passed along.

 So it was a WC one? A few around here..just harder to find WC. The Camaro trans with the S-10 tailshaft moves the shifter forward and vertical for bench seat.  Whats in my 57.

No mine wasn't a WC. I had a couple S10 ones plus that one and I figured it gave me the option for the position of the shifter. I was just going to run a wee 8 in it.

hoods are getting tuff to find,for the floors and rockers they are a cross canada rust replacement part lordco gotem cab mounts also check out scottssupertrucks.com online 73 t0 87 complete front ends bolt right in if you want cheap disc brakes and PS nice project also ihave a 65 chev bus a 65 chev longbox CC and a 65 gmc shorty 4x4 somewhere theres a picture of my 4x4 here ive had no luck posting pictures for a while unless they are already here somewhere kms has quite a bit of stuff also
