One cool car! Not to fond of the interior...wonder what it looked like originally? At least she was a V8,but even then a west coast hill would be a killer . A-B car and a nice one at that! To me the 57 chev El Morocco was the coolest looking car. They only sold 20 of the 56 model but still made them for 57? Think around 16-18 built. Cross between Caddy and Chevy. Wonder how many Air porter cars made?

Collectible Automobile did a good article about 25 years ago on the'57 El Morocco. The article has great photos of the conversion being performed. All in lead of course.

I do not understand what a multi door 57 Chev for a limo service has to do with a specialty 57 custom car. The El Morocco of 56 and 57 is a very rare and very very expensive collector car. There is a lot of info out there on this very project and i for one have always found it interesting.

For those who are into it, here's a site of a '59 Chev Multi-door turned into a tarted-up limo. It's nice that it was repurposed, but it kind of irks me to see doors being welded up, since these were such special and unique vehicles to start with.
I agree with Mark, the car looks goofy with the doors welded up like that............. why why why. The work looks very good though but not required. I have never seen a 59 Chev version of long limo though. Cheers.
