64 Beaumont powerglide cooling lines?

Just finishing up installing the powerglide back into my 64 Beaumont SD. Have a question on how to tie in the transmission cooling lines to the radiator.

Attached scan shows the locations of the cooling lines on the transmission case but question is how do the lines attach to the cooler in the radiator? The connections on the radiator is there an in and out or does it matter? Must the lines into the radiator cooler go in a specific side?

Thanks in advance.

Either side is fine, no direction for it as far as I've ever seen.

Unless it is a Concours resto you are best to have an aftermarket aux cooler (air to fluid) in series with the radiator heat exchanger. Put it after the radiator, so go box-out (5 I think) to radiator to cooler and back to box. Even a small one helps and can drop your transmission fluid temperature drastically. It is a must if you have any sort of non-standard stall speed too. They are easy to fit with a few handmade brackets to pickup existing radiator support holes.
