I have always been a big fan of the 57 58 59 Ford hide tops and this is very sad indeed. I wonder if she can be saved and not parted out.

I'm thinking that the frame on a retractable might be longer than the other models and It looks like the frame would be bent.
The price of a nice retractable peaked about 20 years ago and is now stagnant so maybe not worth fixing. Insurance must have thought it wasn't worth it so paid out.
