Here in PEI (where we only have a rear plate) many folks have interesting plates on the front - vintage plates, plates from the southern state the car came from etc etc.
aparently in Ontario it is illegal to run with a different or a second set of number plates than registered. i was thinking if that made us tak front plates off I would put the original state or province plate on ours. I was told (from an uno source mind you) that I could be ticketed... time will tell. I really hope its a gradual change and we can keep our old plates. All of our vehicles have older plates that are not aluminum junk. Our newest set of plates were issues in 1989

Yes, It got ticketed for a different front plate in Ontario when I lived there.
