Just so a member knows....

Anyone else get the pun or just me? Maybe my sense of humour is too dry?

Seems I offended...but never meant to.

Back in the spring game again. Took the front springs out of 59 Pontiac 2dr HT that I'm going to scrap/give away when I'm done. no excitement this time no spring compressor either. Car on stands removed the sway bar links and tire, jack under lower control arm at the spring ran jack up until car lifted a little removed bolts from lower control arm shaft got the spring out with no flying parts etc, just seemed to easy no excitement like last time! putting it together with a piece of pipe to replace spring so I can move car around.

Well that was a boring post......Just kidding!!!biggrin Glad to see you didn't have a headache like the last go around.

Have we seen pictures of the 59? Even if it's scrap, it's fun seeing what guys are working on. And especially 59 hardtops, they are such a good looking car.

I always wrap a chain around front coil springs so the scene doesnt change into a Looney Tunes cartoon.

Yes, always use a chain just in case. I do not want to sound overly dramatic but it could mean your life if it went into your head.
