I'm a little weak on my '67 SD knowledge, so I have a question:

Was the "big block" (twin bulge) hood available on the Beaumont, or have people just been putting Chevelle SS396 hoods on them?

The hood isn't listed in the "Sports Option" on the brochure.

Starting approximately Dec 1 1966 when the SD became a model vs an option, the SD was only available in 396 and always had the domed hood. Prior to that, SD was an option available with other engines as well as 396 and the hood was always flat.

Thanks Carl.  Did the Beaumont have unique trim on the hood bulges, or were they the same as Chevelle?

I was going to check if the 67 Chevelle/Beaus had the same hood spear as the 66s dont. First time Ive noticed that the 67s didnt have hood spears.
