Nice looking example. The price does seem a little high. It's possible he may have that much into the restoration, but I'm not sure the market will bear it.

Bench seat column shift must be a rare option for an SD, but I can't see it adding value, as your average Beaumont Custom would have that configuration.

I have to say I never like seeing an exposed flywheel underneath, but I see it more often than I would figure. Do people leave the covers off for a reason?

Those covers would get damaged or lost over the years and many neglected to replace them. Besides the safety issue a lot of garbage and dirt would find its way up under there........YIKES!!

Thanks... that was always my thought as well... why would anybody want to leave that open to road debris, not to mention if somebody happened to forget themselves while it's running on a hoist.

FWIW, in my opinion, if I'm looking at a car with that asking price, I want all those little (and not so little) details looked after. No worries there, as I'll never be looking at a car for that price! biggrin

I agree-if the car was super nice and detailed correctly it may fetch the asking price but it has too many issues to be worth that kind of money.

Agree the detail has to be there at that price and if this is a numbers matching car it should be stated which it is not.

Engine detail is poor ........imo asking price should be about $29,000 and take $25,000 considering the current market.

Desirable Canadian car here but presented poorly for this asking.

Another one with funky looking rivets (allen head screws?) on the cowl tag. The cowl tag says Sport Deluxe (73817), but I'd want to see a little more documentation. Could be legit, but for $65k, it'd better be the real thing.

Seems odd that the "A52 option front bench seat and column shift" is not listed on the cowl tag. Same with the L35 or L34 for the 396. But I am no expert when it comes to cowl tag info.
