These big old wagons have always been a good source for 400 + cubers.

I have a 500 out of a 75 hearse.

I think they would be a great source of cruising enjoyment as is.  You don't see many of either style around, especially the clamshell tailgate full sizers, as they were popular with the demo derby crowd.

It would be a shame to only think of this as a powertrain donor...
