A couple of nice warm weather cruisers in South Winnipeg - a one owner 67 Beaumont SD and a 1972(?) Lemans Convert


I talked to the guy who owns the Beaumont - he bought the car new from Dickson motors - it has a 283 in it - we didn't talk long - he had bought ice cream for his him and his grandson and their ice cream was melting

I had seen the car earlier at the Legion by Point Road - the owner is on the executive at that legion

The 72 lemans convert was at a shop on Pembina - I don't remember ever seeing one of these car with bumper guards

yes I wish there had been more time to talk to him about the car

To your knowledge was the car ever restored? - the interior looked very original

 

Just a bit of trivia about Dickson motors - I think it was in the Portage Avenue building where McNaught Pontiac was last located before it moved to the south end of Winnipeg.

 

A month ago I drove by that building and it was being torn down
