A little pricy at $52K. Pics could be better...
Repost in a better format. Posted the last one using a phone and couldn't get it to post pics or link to a new window properly.
IMHO, he'll probably be keeping it for $52K, especially with it needing bodywork. Again IMHO, $52K should buy one that was stored in a climate controlled garage from new, with like 25 miles on it and absolutely mint.
For sale($52k Canadian dollars )my beautiful 1969 beaumont convertible custom. Car located in Nanaimo BC. Here are some of the highlights:
- 383 stroker - Holley sniper EFI - 3 speed auto/ shift kit rebuild from Alberni - posi 12 bolt rear end - Hoskins suspension sport - US mags ( Ramblers) Rims/ new Tires - beautiful white bench seats redone looks brand new - black dash - new carpet - power convertible top - brand new gas tank
Much much more new parts to list
I have babied this beauty. I have all paper work for all the mechanical work thats been done within the last year. Lots done to make this ride run absolutely beautiful
Garage kept only, never driven in the rain. Only is the sun.
Very minor body work left to do, was gonna do it but am considering selling the car and a last to do for the new owner ( body work)
Please private message me for more details. Serious inquires only, please no negative comments etc.
Asking $52k but am open to very solid offers. Really rare to see a car like this in this awesome condition. There were not very many custom convertibles produced in 1969
No disrespect to the owner but I'm virtually positive this is the same car that was for sale in early 2018 for $30K, and per the pics I kept appears to have little to no changes.
The 68 I sold in 2017 was comparable and maybe a little lower on mechanical but on the flip side required no bodywork, and I received only 50% of what he's asking
For $30K I might consider, but not at this price......just my 2 cents.
That said anyone is free to ask what they want.....maybe he doesn't REALLY want to sell??

That's my guess - he doesn't really want to sell it but hopes to get some idea what it's worth, maybe?
It looks like a nice car, but without decent outdoors photos, it's really hard to tell.
probably had the seat re-upholstered and had the seat covers come from two different lots of fabric-I have been through it many times with the upholstery companies-they always have this issue unless you ask them to be matching etc..Pearl White and parchment are the worst for it.
Makes sense. I recall from selecting ceramic tile when we built our house years ago - die lots make all the difference - so I'm sure it transfers to auto upholstery as well.
Something to keep in mind for anyone replacing upholstery...
I ran across the FB post I saved and obviously a new owner as license plate number changed. I understand there is no rule on making a profit but I don't see anywhere close to $22,000 in upgrades?? Just my opinion and no disrespect intended
I agree that it's up to the seller what they want to ask for their car, but I think in this case $30K would be all the market would bear for it, so this new seller will be waiting a long time if they don't adjust their pricing accordingly.
Honestly, you could put 2 pretty nice cars in your garage for what he is asking for one. To each his own, but I hope he's not actually expecting to get that kind of coin for that car...
My standard offer when I am interested in buying a car is 50% of asking, I use this at dealers and private sales. This usually separates the sellers from the dreamers.
So Ray you offer $25k on a vehicle with a $50k price tag?
Absolutely, My greatest success was buying a one owner 4 year old Cadillac Deville D'elegance taken on trade at Markville Chevrolet for 52% of sticker price.
