1966 Beaumont SD barn find


Just found and purchased a 66 Beaumont SD.  It is a A51, D99, M20 original car with 2D MIst Blue exterior colour except original motor and tranny gone.  I am helping a friend with his SD that is M35 powerglide car.  We would like  help finding a number of parts for both cars like rear 1/4 Sport Deluxe script for both cars, he needs one SD trunk emblem I need both SD emblems for the trunk and glove box.  We are missing some of the belt line chrome,  and I need front fender "gills".  I have decoded the cowl tag but cannot find what the 391 trim code is.  We do have a number of parts extra like 67 grill, 67 hood, 66 trunk lid,  complete uncut 66 dash,  etc  and a couple of boxes of various parts. (don't even know what all we have extra), to trade or? if anyone has something we have they need. 

Any help greatly appreciated

I could dig out some gills but youd find nicer reproductions available for about the same price.

 391 is for black all-vinyl buckets in a '66 Beaumont. The equivalent Chevelle interior is 763. The '66 Beaumont Sport Deluxe used Chevelle seats & upholstery combined with LeMans / GTO door panels.

Thanks for confirming the trim code.  Some discussions have just taken place that cast questions on M20 code.  it has been said that the M20 code only denotes manual trans.  Supposedly on Chevelles you need the GM paper work to find out what trans came in the car, three speed/4 speed, M20/M21/m22.  Is this true for a Beaumont.  What bell housing, came these cars?  153/168. 10.5/11 clutch.  If it was a BB would it be on cowl tag.  wondering if anyway to determine engine prior to getting GM info sheet?  trying to determine which way to bring this car back to life.  Original or custom.  Have big block hanging along with a bunch of small blocks of various years and casting numbers.  Mist Blue original or maybe Danube.  I am staring to assemble parts and have to decide which way to go prior to frame off this winter.

M20 will appear on the tag only if it was built with a 4 speed. A 3 speed manual would be a blank tag as far as trans codes go.

As far as engine size, what size fuel line does it have from the tank to the front? A 327 or 396 would be 3/8". Also, can you post a picture of the frame mounts for the engine? The big block mount looks different than the small block mount. I didn't check but I believe you could order an HD clutch (11") with a 327 and if so, the bellhousing for that would be the same as the 396, a 168 tooth. Otherwise the small block would be a 153 tooth.

I am pretty confident in saying there was no Saginaw 4 speed in a 66 Beaumont (first year being 67) so chances are 99.9% that it was a Muncie wide ratio. I would assume you could likely order a 3.55, 3.73 or maybe even a 4.10 diff along with an M21 but I bet the tag would still have read M20. I don't think M21 ever appeared on a cowl tag.
