Unfortunately I was the victim of a hit and run last night in my 1962 Laurentian. I was driving and an idiot in a Dodge Ram crossed the center line, and as I swerved out of the way his front tire hooked my rear bumper and twisted it.
Will the rear bumper from a Catalina/Grand Prix/Parisienne, etc....fit? Is there any differences between models I need to be aware of before I buy one?
Saw that you had it posted on Facebook... Member gparis7 may have what you need, he picked up some '62 parts at my place last week and bumpers were just a couple of items to name a few... I'm sure he will see this and my possibly tend to your needs...
If you are looking at an American bumper check the number of mounting holes and location. My 60 Laurentian has less mounting holes than the
60 Catalina.
Joey , all the rear Canadian bumpers will fit except maybe the wagon. Not sure about the wagon. Not sure about US either. Will insurance cover it including rechrome? Any other damage?

Don, waiting for the adjuster to call me back tomorrow to see what they're going to do. The body wasn't damaged as in any dents, the paint was just scuffed.
If it can be fixed and rechromed, it will have to be sent out of the province for rechroming. No one here does it.
We have no one here rechromeing either. Search on here for advice on who to send it to and who not to send it to.
