Is this new? Never noticed the stars at the top of the post before? Maybe I've been blind for the past few years! How do you look up the ratings??

If you go to a specific forum area (eg: The Lounge) you will see a column labeled "Rating" and in that column next to a topic the number of stars member's have assigned to it. No rating=no stars. 

It can be used to help members choose topics that others found useful or entertaining.
