Is anyone near Drayton Valley Alberta ?

I have come across a can that I don't need, can't afford but I still might drive it back from Alberta in July.

The only problem is that the car is one of those "to good to be true" cars.

It's going to be cheaper to fly to Edmonton from London' ON. then, renting a car to drive out to Drayton Valley from the Edmonton airport, go figure confuse

It's not a Pontiac so that's why I want a Pontiac guy to look at it biggrin

If I asked someone from the forum for that car, they would scoop it for themselves furious

If anyone is out that way, let me know.

Thanks

I just noticed "Members Map" doesn't work anymore.

Not everyone used this feature but it was a good tool to get some member help in other areas of Canada.

How can the rental car be so expensive? Are they hitting you with dropoff fees at Drayton Valley?

PS - your Ontario upbringing is showing through, you're using "then" instead of "than".

Randy, if this happens make sure you let me know. We can arrange some accommodations for you as you travel, either here or lakefront in Northwest Ontario.

Thanks Carl,

My first stop would be Calgary,

for speech lessons biggrin

If anyone has used any of the Edmonton car appraisers, I'm also looking to use one of them to look at the car.

Some of the details on this car are a bit off.

The seller may not be misrepresenting the car but may have not been giving the true facts about the car when he bought it 6 years ago.

The car is still for sale,

The owner has had nothing but "Stupid offers"

I could not go anywhere in July.

No one wants to go from Edmonton to the car to inspect it for me.

Even the professional car appraisers.

I did get a reasonable quote from Auto Carrier Corp out of Calgary but this would involve the car being transferred to to several different carriers before it gets to me.

Google reviews have not been kind to this company.

Has anyone had experience with them ?
