Winnipeg Car Show June 29 - 62 Bonneville Tri power convert, 74 GTO, 67 - 72 Canadian suburban

more pictures

The 71 Cuda had a tape recorder with a microphone in it - something that you would expect in an Imperial instead of a CudaDSC04668.JPGDSC04669.JPGDSC04670.JPGDSC04671.JPGDSC04672.JPGDSC04673.JPGDSC04674.JPGDSC04675.JPGDSC04679.JPGDSC04680.JPGDSC04682.JPGDSC04683.JPGDSC04684.JPG

here is the 62 Bonneville which to my mind was the star of the show

The fellow who used to run Tin Man ( the Winnipeg version ) brought it

here' s the 74 GTO - interesting how a version of the car that generated a bit of discussion on this site showed up last night

A bit of a drab interior - reminds a person how everything was an option in those years

I was able to verify that the ralley 11 rim I have for sale is a wheel for one of these cars

Here's the Atomic suburban

A bit of a weird coincidence is that we just recently finished watching Chernobyl on Netflix ( highly recommended)

The Cuda needs a little TLC on the cooling system. Looks like a puddle of good old Preston underneath the front end!!

Nice group. I'm partial to the Austin Healey and the 61 Bonneville.

Say that nose job LeMans appears to be a 1970 LeMans Sport with a 71/72 nose and hood.

Just FYI that's a 1977-81 style shaker on the 1974 GTO.
Original one is the more rounded 1970-76 style, with servo operated flapper door.

I talked in length with the owner of the 71 lemans convert, 3rd owner all original except paint, he said the endura nose came on it, he had the documentation even.

Well I stand to be corrected, it is sporting 1970 wheel discs though, the source of my confusion.

Sorry late to see this, we were away a bit.

The 65 Bonneville 4 door hardtop is Brad from Morris. He lives a couple of blocks away from me.
