Have you ever heard baby foxes "scream"? It's one of the most bone chilling noises you'll ever hear- especially when it occurs at 3am!

I've watched the adult foxes do the death scream too. We had one around the farm for a couple of years that would sit on it's butt, totally content and then let out one of those screams that sounded like someone just got stabbed!

 For sure. Most of the time they do abrupt yip to get my attention.

I had one sneak up on me while sawing wood once. I turned around and it was sitting there 3 feet away, non-threatening, but it still made me jump.
