Ever heard of this gas heater?

Helping the widow of a friend sell some stuff, one thing I never saw before is an auto gas heater. It is connected to the gas in a car and has a tap into the rad hose to keep the block warm plus it heats the car interior.

I figure some of you prairie guys may have seen one? This one is brand new never installed. Maybe somebody with a Dodge or Ford would need one of these? Also needed in Toyota, Kia, Lexus, Hyundai maybe? Oh, forgot Jeeps.

I have pics somewhere.

Also have 2 small welders that are made to be installed in a vehicle under the hood or in the interior, they run off a 150 amp alternator and also have a 110 outlet.

A Wabaso style heater? The ones I'm familiar with are for diesel applications. Had one on my F250 and of course on the big rigs I've owned and drove decades ago.

When I ran a satellite truck in the early 90's it had an Espar brand block heater similar to the one shown above. Ran on diesel and hooked into the heater hoses. After running for 30 minutes the truck started like on a summer day.
The truck actually had 2 of them, one on the engine and one for the onboard generators.

Had a Espar in Frieghtliner Cab over, had a timer that I could set to come on in morning before I got over to rig [2 to 3 hours ] as stated "fired up like summer time" & instant heat in cab, loved it!!!!

A fellow I met from Moscow (Russia) a few years ago told me that this type of heater is actually quite popular there, as they typically don't have places to plug in block heaters like we do in northern/western Canada, and their cars won't start in the winter without some kind of extra heating...
