A new Oshawa made member in the family

My brother had a 69 Chevelle when he was 19

My dad put in a 1970 350 from a Parisienne that had a broken frame.

To shorten this story, my dad should have left the 305 and fixed the steering biggrin

Two weeks ago, I bought my brother this ERTLE that I found at an used stuff store.

Yesterday he drags me halfway across Ontario to look at another scrap pile badged as a 67 Mustang.

I did some research first and convinced him to do a side trip furious

Estate sale, 69 Vert originally from Montreal area.

Brother in-law, that was selling it, is a Oshawa Retiree.

Sorry for the blurry action shot.

Not perfect but It was originally Z-barted  and looks awesome underneath !

while it's badged "Malibu", I will have him get the GM documents, for the car, to get the real story.

We got the new ride home to his place,

1969 chevelle tt.jpg

The trouble with estate sales is that the story of the car gets lost.

The provincial seller's package doesn't lie.

This car was owned by RM Classic cars for 6 years.

Still a driver but with some interesting heritage.

The brother in-law will be sending us a box of paperwork when he finds it.

The GM docs may be in there.

He did find this sign,

1969 chevelle pl.jpg

The plot thickens !

Does anyone recognize the logos on the sign ?
