Any Winnipegers?

I was wondering if I could ask a favor or three..

1) I was wondering if any Winnipegers might be able to keep an eye out for early 1970's Park Pontiac badged cars;
I understand the badge is supposed to have a field of green, but I also thought there was supposed to be red in the "P" over the tree... or maybe on the "P" as well as on "PARK"...

This is just a gut feeling.

2) If, by any odd chance any one has pictures (vintage or from an original car seen at a local show) of a 70-73 Firebird with either the 'Birchwood' or 'Park' badges still in place - I'd really like to see where they were mounted.
(yup, I know this one is a stretch)

3) If by any chance anyone has any articles they might be able to share about Birchwood's racing efforts;
I spoke a couple times last year with Denis Verrier around the time that he offered to give me one of his few remaining vintage Brichwood badges;
During the discussions he told me that he even went with the team as far as Mission raceway running cars - the one that stands out to me was a Formula with the 455HO.
(yes, I know that if the last one was a stretch, this one is a real long shot)

My car is from Birchwood, and an online acquaintance has a 1970 Trans Am which is from Park Pontiac - he is refinishing his badge, and will be putting it on his car.
My intent is to authentically mount my badge (gasp!) - so I'd like to try to be sure I put it in the correct spot!

Thanks in advance!!

I really wonder how consistent the placement was over time, different trim guys installing etc etc. Have you tried connecting with the MB Pontiac Club?

I'll hit up a couple shows and will keep an eye out.

I hope it's a stick on badge, I don't think I'd consider installing it on a restored car. It's really a 'day 2' peice.

No idea if still available but there's a Park Emblem advertised @ this link...

Also, there's a bunch of Winnipeg stuff on YouTube including TV commercials from Park, here's one...

I did reach out to the Winnipeg club;
The badge for my aqquaintances car was given by a member of the club.
He cut the badge posts off;
At this time, my intent is to actually mount the badge, as opposed to two sided tape ect.

I dug thru my stuff and found this emblem plus the promotional front plate

In my experience the Park emblems don't seem to be that common.

The front plate is probably from the 1980s

Oh!
Those are pretty cool!
- I wonder what the Park Pontiac plate was for - I don't recall Manitoba ever NOT having dual plates!
(my first licensed car was my firebird, and that set was the old black and white plates! - I think I still have them squirreled away somewhere!)

I will take it then that I was mistaken on the red bit;
I know my dad (whom some joked as changing cars more than underwear) had several Park Pontiac vehicles;
I'll chalk it up to a memory that was less than accurate.
