I saw pictures on another site. Did you guys see a red 66 Grande Parisienne 427 car? I think I talked to the original owner (he still owns it) on the phone a few years back but I'd never seen the car. WOW!

That red 66 GP with a 427 is amazing. Hung round it a lot yesterday so I could talk with the owner, but our timing never worked.

Beautiful car.

That appears to be the original interior. The pleat shape in the seat covers is next to impossible to reproduce except at great cost.

 It's a Turbo 400.

Absolutely amazing car.

I saw it online in an outdated car story about a different car he owns, I think it's a late 40's something car. The 40's car was featured in some magazine and in the article there was a line near the end where it mentioned he was the original owner of a 66 Grande Parisienne 427. I was so intrigued I took his name from the article and googled the area where it said he lived, found a potential phone number and called there. His wife answered and said yes, he still owns that car and put him on the line. We talked for likely a good 1/2 hour, great guy!

66 is sort of the first year for full size....

I have some GM microfiche dated 1964 that have a list of part numbers needed for the dealer to order A/C components to install it in a full size 64 Canadian Pontiac. It even lists the name of the person whose vehicle allegedly gets/got the A/C installed. I am wondering if it was a GM executive vehicle possibly and the fiche pages were strictly for GM use on a one time install.

On the 1965 GM Canadian Pontiac assembly manual microfiche there is no mention of A/C at all. The 66 assembly manual has many pages dedicated to A/C on the full size, I believe around 36 pages.

The 1967 Beaumont assembly manual also shows all the info to install A/C on the assembly line but I think by now it's safe to say it never happened on a Beaumont in 1967.

What an absolutely beautiful car!  Clearly the original owner takes pride in it as it looks pristine.

Wow I can't believe that I'd forgotten about seeing that car before. And I'm sure I must have seen the pictures if you posted them. Looks like a great show too.
