I think the twin stripes were a 1970 thing, but agree that they would look good on this car, or a thin white stripe, which would be correct for 1969.  The wide stripe takes away from the look for me.

How many times did we hear that with our Oshawa built cars? Now on CP we can say that about US built ones. biggrin

You know I was talking with a gent who was a Ford & Mercury salesman back in the 60's and 70's the times when Canadian Pontiacs sold really well.  He told me that they would use that line on customers in trying to sell the Fords and Mercs when the customer would tell them they were shopping for a Pontiac making it out to be an inferior product. Maybe we can blame Ford for starting this.
