Too New To Be A Feature Car?

I have been a loyal Pontiac car buyer over the years and have purchased numerous Catalinas, a Safari wagon, a couple Bonnevilles, a Grand Am, a G6 Convertible, and 2 Grand Prixs. This last Grand Prix, however, has been the best of them all. It is a loaded 2005 Grand Prix GT with the Series 3 - 3.8L engine. This car also happens to be a Canadian manufactured Pontiac.biggrin I purchased it in 2008 with 23,000 miles on it. It now shows over 425,000 miles. It has been a garage kept Michigan car until we moved to Florida last year. It has, and still sees, the car wash once a week and oil changes every 3,000 miles. The undercarriage, body, and interior are extremely clean and they don't reflect the mileage. Transmission was rebuilt at 289,000 along with the radiator being replaced. The engine has never been opened up. It has the original alternator, fuel pump in gas tank, fuel lines, fuel injectors, AC system, brake lines, booster, master cylinder, steering rack, electronics, and stainless exhaust system. It has no leaks. I am shooting for 500,000 miles when I will let GM know and hope that they will give me a new Pontiac...um, Chevy?confuse

That's great! I'd certainly consider it.

As Oshawa winds down Production this year, I think all Pontiacs built there are worth mentioning.

That Generation of Grand Prix are great cars.

Still see a lot of them around.

I'm really impressed with the HHR I drive for work. It's an 06 with 312000 km and it works great. AC still cold, great gas mileage and doesn't burnt a drop of oil. I don't even think a serpentine belt has
ever been replaced.
