I took in the 30th annual Kirkfield car show with my 57 Pontiac. The big annual show was held at the Kirkfield Lions complex, up in the beautiful Kawartha's region. Perfect drive there, perfect day there and a perfect drive back home. It was a two hour drive one way for me and well worth it. Met a lot of good old car folks and saw a lot of sweet looking rides. Some lucky person took home almost $3.000 in the 50/50 draw. Being up there made me wonder why anyone would want to live anywhere else. Check out the rides. Cheers.
I really appreciate you documenting the many car shows in Ontario that people like me cannot get to. As your photos show, there are a lot of very interesting cars to be found in Canada. Thanks.
Thanks again for doing this George. I love the mix of the tractors in with the cars. Brings back some memories of growing up on the farm and having a couple of those. That 4 hours of driving I'm sure was as enjoyable as the show.

I guess by this time of the season you have shot about every old car that exists in Southern Ontario that is taken out to the cruise-ins.
Ray, i did not run into Pete. There are far more vintage cars in Ontario than i could ever capture. It would be a full time job with over time, capturing even half of the oldies that are in Ontario. Cheers.

Yes that's my old Avanti ii that I sold to John Thomas & he & his wife Carol are sure enjoying it!!! The 62 G/P [ blue with white top] is an old high school friend's ride & 56 red & white Monarch belongs to my neighbor down the street. I believe they went over the 400 count this year. As George said it was beautiful drive up & back & weather was just right, with light breeze blowing, & lots of vehicles I'd nevver seen before!!!!
