Lost power Saturday at 6 pm, back yesterday at 10 am, smelling much better now. Helped my buddy Bill Lutwick at his almost 100 year old shop. Watched as ocean water came in the water side door and went out the roadside door, then that reversed direction for about 2 hours. The place flooded at 230 and high tide was at 330 and the floor moved up and down from the wave motion about 4-5 inches. Wind changed direction and started blowing outward and things settled down. Lots of damaged wharves and a couple of boats left their moorings, trees down, but overall was better than expected.

Ours went out again for about an hour this afternoon. I was home working on our work HHR cutting out metal to repair some rot. I fired up the generator and was glad it came back on just before I was ready to use my welder!
