Our first really nice day in at least 2 weeks. When you don't really have the time to spare but the calendar says "September" you seize the moment. 23*, plenty of sun, little breeze, perfect day for at least a quick ride.
I imagine most of you at one time or another have stopped at a gas station and had one of those younger people approach you with the can and the cloth wanting to demonstrate their super-duper one step cleaner/wax/refinishing/miracle chemical that restores your car from top to bottom.....
Just started putting fuel in and the girl approaches me-
Me: (big smile on my face) You're not touching my car, I'm sorry!
Her: Ok, sweet car, what year is it?
Me: 66, it's old.
Her: It's not as old as my parents!
