speedo up-grade ....................................... new pictures

getting things gathered for this winter's projects...the GPS speedo i bought

will fit in the left pocket of my 64 beaumont..all i have to do is cut the lense

now i will have a working KM speedo ..no worries about tire sizes ,these are

real accurate...my original speedo stays in place blocked by my Monster Tach

speedo up-grade

18 views and nobody replied. I think we were all thinking the wrong kind of Speedo when we saw the subject line. And none of us wanted to discuss them on this forum....!

Pretty cool it's the right size.

Haha! As soon as I saw this post I bought one! Just waiting on delivery. I always find the originals in my cars are out And a pain. I think I will stick it where the clock is as it doesnt work properly and I am over trying to rebuild them.

just tried it in the clock hole ...fits even better...i'm trying it this weekend at the track since you have to reset the clock every time you use the kill switch....no cutting involved

Reminds me of the fella who put a potato in his speedo when visiting the beach, with the hope of meeting girls. Didnt work. Then a friend suggested that he try putting it in the front of the Speedo.

Sorry for the hijack. Nice job re the instrumentation!

here's the install in my 64 Beau...easy ..4 bolts & the clock is out...i mounted the pick-up sensor
on top of the dash (picks up the GPS signal in less than 10 sec.)..wired thru the speaker mesh(radio delete)
key power(with the light)...works perfect..182 kph thru the 1/4 mile

Boy that does fit well there and obviously the old Beau is launching pretty good to show that number. Good stuff.
