Possibly this is the case, but if it's true as worded it would seem a shame to scrap this car, unless it's a rustbucket.  Not really my cup of tea, though, but it would be nice if somebody got some use out of it...

Reminds me of the ads where guys say:

"if I don't get $xxxx.xx for this car I'm going to send it for scrap."

....and what,.....and only get $300.00 by scrapping the car?
