This one has been sitting for thirty some years so I decided to make it run again just for fun. Thanks to Rock Auto it is very affordable for all the parts to make it road worthy again.
Love it. Seems to be most popular in sask for some reason. I have seen alot in hte junkyards, but this is so cool that it is still running around. Cool!!!

"This is a Saskatchewan phenomenon. They were called "Thatcher Wagons" named after Ross Thatcher who brought in the cheap purple fuel law when he was Premiere. Only farm trucks could use the cheap fuel so a lot of older cars became "farm trucks".
I LIKE IT !!! and i agree with Carl on the C.P. feature.......... why not. The rear doors should be welded up to make her more likable. This 57 looks fairly clean and i for one say it should be finished off in its present theme.

It rocks! I'd put on it's original rims, no hubcaps.
