Seems like forever but I finally got my Sport Deluxe back after a color change and engine swap.I was lucky to find a 67 396 325 hp last summer out of a 67 Chevelle SS with the ending letters on the stamp pad of ET making it a brother to the original motor from factory. After I found it I knew I wanted to take it back to the original color of Provincial White and get it back original as the day it rolled out of the Oshawa plant in March 1967.My old color was gray with a black stripe and it stil looked good as it was painted in 1982 but was due for a freshen up!!Decided to go with the stripe instead of Sport Deluxe emblems as I like how it busts up the white...the car was not one of the 117 original stripe cars produced.
That is just outstanding. I've had two performance/muscle cars in white and people have always told be that the styling details really stand out with that choice. Its true for yours too and with the red interior I'm almost speechless.
